Don Tolsma
Don started working in the residential construction industry in the late 1990s as a carpenter. Building decks and fences for a production builder. In 2003, he was approached by a production builder to become their lead carpenter, which led to his becoming a superintendent and then construction manager. In 2017, Don co-founded Timber Haus Developments with his business partner John Wilson. With a combined 40 years of experience in the industry, Timber Haus has become one of the most respected Infill and Custom Home builders in Edmonton.
Don’s passion is people. Creating and turning Timber Haus’s customers’ dream homes into reality. Customer service is number one. The relationships and friendships that are built when building someone’s home last a lifetime. As an industry leader, Don sat on the Canadian Home Builders Edmonton Region Board of Directors from 2019 until 2021 and continues to lead the Infill industry by sitting on the Builder Technical Committee and as a chair of the Mature Neighborhood working group for the CHBA-ER. He also sits on multiple other committees to continue strong advocacy for the Construction industry in Edmonton. Whether it is building a big custom home, a garden suite, or a basement suite, “Building amazing homes or spaces for amazing people is my passion.”
John Wilson
John has worked building homes for over eighteen years, shaping the city as a journeyman, carpenter, and small business owner. He joined the Lincolnberg team in 2013 as a Superintendent.

Andre Beghin
With over 21 years in the home building industry, Andre’s basically seen it all (and built most of it). He’s been involved in the creation of more than 2,000 homes—yes, two thousand—helping hundreds of families settle into their dream homes across the Edmonton area. If houses had a Hall of Fame, Andre would already have his name on a gold plaque.
What drew him to Timber Haus? The vibe. The passion. The top-notch craftsmanship. Oh, and the fact that the team here is ridiculously talented (his words, but we agree). Andre’s pumped to be part of a crew that’s not just building homes, but bringing dreams to life—wood grain, clean lines, and all.
When he’s not managing builds or admiring fine carpentry, Andre’s all about the simple joys: hanging out with his family, recharging, and probably trying to sneak in a dad joke or two.
Sean Wiebe
Sean joined Timber Haus in 2021 after telling Don and John, “It’s my dream to work at Timber Haus—and it would be a mistake not to hire me.” A local hailing from Inglewood and a passionate advocate for thoughtful infill development, he brings genuine enthusiasm to every custom home project, helping clients shape spaces that reflect who they are and how they want to live.
Sean loves telling the story behind each home and celebrating every milestone with clients throughout the design and construction journey. He believes the people he works with are some of the coolest, smartest, and most interesting individuals he’s ever met—and feels fortunate to help guide them from first ideas to final keys and beyond.
When he’s not working, Sean is usually cooking, hosting friends and family, or exploring Edmonton with his wife, Kristyn, daughters, Charlotte and Georgia, and their dog, Finn. A fan of mid-century modern design, he’s driven by the joy of creating homes that feel both personal and timeless, helping people understand and realize their vision.

Tracy Tran
Armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Vancouver Island University and over 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, admin, and customer service, Tracy brings a little bit of everything to the table—especially spreadsheets. She’s got a sharp eye for detail, a knack for efficiency, and can juggle priorities like a pro (probably while drinking coffee and answering emails, too). Before joining the Timber Haus crew, Tracy spent four solid years rocking the accounting and finance world at Lincolnberg. From financial reporting to reconciling accounts and mastering accounting software, she’s done it all—and made it look easy. Organized? Always. Dependable? You bet. Adaptable? Like a chameleon in business casual.
Outside the office, Tracy’s world revolves around family time with her two awesome kids. She’s all about balance, learning new things, and finding joy in the little moments (preferably with snacks involved). What does she love most about the Timber Haus team? In her words: “Besides the team’s high energy, intelligence, and creativity – what I love the most is their commitment to teamwork and always pushing to be better!” (We think she fits right in.)

Kevin Correia
With 16+ years in the residential construction world — and a career that started on-site as a framer — Kevin brings technical know-how, sharp estimating skills, and a collaborative spirit to the Timber Haus team. As our Purchasing + Estimating Manager, he’s the go-to for all things budgeting, sourcing, and keeping the build process running smoothly.
When he’s off the clock, Kevin’s busy being a dedicated dance dad, squeezing in gym sessions when he can, and trying to sneak off to the golf course — or at least to patio beers with the crew.

Madison Turner
Madison is the bright, friendly face keeping things organized behind the scenes at Timber Haus. With a sharp mind for detail and a natural knack for coordination, she’s quickly become an essential part of the admin team. Madison grew up around the TH crew (her mom, Kristi, has been part of the family for years!) — so stepping into this role felt like a natural fit.
When she’s off the clock, Madison’s all about country tunes, summer nights, and any excuse to get out camping. She recently made her way to Nashville with a bestie, and let’s just say… she’s already planning round two.

Naatiya Prakash
Naatiya is the latest addition to the Timber Haus design squad! With over a decade of experience working in custom homes, her creativity and expertise shine through every new client project she touches! Naatiya was born in India, and her family moved to the Edmonton area when she was eleven years old. As a young adult, her passion for building and designing beautiful spaces took her across the country, where she completed her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Toronto.
When she’s not busy at work designing dream homes, Naatiya enjoys “throwing some clay around” as an amazing amateur potter, taking in the local cocktail scene with friends or enjoying a quiet evening reading with her cat, Cheeto. What might be most impressive is Naatiya’s breadth of knowledge and love for the Toronto Raptors. Do you need someone to talk ball with? She’s got you covered!
What’s her personal home style? Naatiya loves eclectic, artistic spaces with pops of colour – and she’s not scared of a bold pattern or two! If this sounds like the spaces you dream about, Naatiya is your designer!

Dylan MacKay
Dylan MacKay, a drafter and designer, has crafted his career in the design industry, drawing inspiration from his roots in the trades and evolving into a skilled professional with a passion for transforming dreams into designs. Originally working as a commercial drafter, Dylan was thrilled to join Timber Haus in 2022 as it was clear the company paralleled his dedication to the art of designing naturally inspired spaces that captivate and encourage better living. This career shift reflects Dylan’s move into a position that embraces his creative spirit and allows him to bring a personal touch to his work.
When not immersed in the design world, Dylan enjoys camping and hiking, playing hockey, cruising on his motorcycle, exploring neighbourhoods, and looking for inspiration for upcoming projects. Dylan loves meeting new clients and feels that understanding you is key to designing a home that works for you and your family. His ability to understand his client’s unique stories and aspirations has become a hallmark of his approach. Tayo Ajegbile
Tayo joined our Timber Haus team in 2024. He is an ambitious Architectural Designer and Technologist with over six years of experience. Tayo holds a Master’s degree in architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Tayo is passionate about design and innovation with a focus on human-centric design, “I strive to make our reality better than it already is through a conscious approach to design. I can get it, but weirdly, I like building and thinking about Revit Families most of the time in my free time.”
When Tayo is not at work, he enjoys keeping up with FIFA, playing ping-pong and soccer at any opportunity, and spending quality time with his beautiful family. He also enjoys discussing politics and world religions.

Carlee Krec
Carlee is a University of Alberta graduate with a diploma in Residential Interiors and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that feel like home. She spent nearly six years as the lead Interior Designer at Aquarian Renovations, gaining hands-on experience transforming houses into dream homes. In 2022, Carlee launched Our Space Interiors—a creative studio that started as a passion project and quickly blossomed into a full-time design business.
Now, as part of the Timber Haus team, Carlee is excited to bring her expertise to our clients and assist them in creating their dream spaces. Whether she’s curating material palettes, reimagining floorplans, or adding the final styling touches, Carlee is passionate about designing spaces that reflect the people who live in them—and the beauty of the world around them.

Nadine Kowalyshyn
With a passion for natural materials and soulful spaces, Nadine brings a deeply considered eye to every design she touches. A graduate of NAIT’s IDT program, she began her career alongside Michelle Law Interiors, crafting custom residential spaces rooted in intention and character. Her love of organic textures led her into the world of tile and stone — assisting in the launch of Earthsmith Tile, Canada’s first handmade terra cotta tile manufacturer, with Dennis Cuku.
That journey shaped Nadine’s design ethos: biophilic, story-rich, and always authentic. She’s proud to be part of a team that shares that same commitment to meaningful, high-quality design.
When she’s not deep in drawings or tile samples, Nadine’s coaching girls’ soccer with Drillers SC or serving up drinks at some of Edmonton’s coziest weekend spots.

Jillian Ouellette
After graduating with a diploma from the Interior Design Technologist program at The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2020, Jillian spent the next five years working for a custom home builder as the Client Liaison and Lead Interior Designer. During that time, she gained hands-on experience in new construction, renovations and insurance rebuilds. She had the opportunity to design show homes, spec homes, duplexes, and contribute to over 100 client projects.
In mid-2025, she joined a furniture showroom part-time to deepen her knowledge of high-end custom furniture, made-to-order lighting and bespoke accessories, all while she launched her own interior design studio, Design by Jillian.
Jillian’s goal is to create a seamless, collaborative and client-focused process while designing spaces that truly reflect her clients’ needs and style. She loves working in a variety of design styles and enjoys the creative challenge of tailoring each space to suit the unique personality of every client.

Construction
Ryan Charron
Ryan entered the construction industry in August 2013 as a rookie in residential construction. Ryan excelled as an Assistant Site Superintendent for five years with Lincolnberg Master Builder learning the ropes by overseeing hundreds of homes built in neighbourhoods across the city, managing and directing trades and ensuring timely/quality project completion.
In 2018 Ryan’s personal life took him to Calgary, but in 2020 he returned to Edmonton and joined Timber Haus developments as a Service Manager. His attention to detail makes him a customer favourite during home turnovers and follow-up warranty visits. Ryan’s skills with the tools, insatiable desire to help people and excellent communication abilities have made him an invaluable asset to Timber Haus.

Jeff Tolsma
Jeff has been in the construction business for most of his life. He was born and raised on a farm outside St. Albert, AB. While dating his girlfriend and now wife, they both lived in Chilliwack, BC, where he worked for a construction company gaining vast knowledge in all aspects of carpentry. After moving back to Alberta, getting married and starting a family, Jeff settled in the small town of Lacombe. There he worked for Wolf Creek Building Supplies installing windows and doors, then was promoted to Operations Manager in the Timber Wolf Truss Company. In 2015, Jeff and his family moved back to the Edmonton area and started working for Lincolnberg Master Builder. After six years working at Lincolnberg as a site superintendent, he recently started working for Timber Haus, assuming the role of site superintendent. Jeff currently has two sons and two daughters.

Andrew Villeneuve
Andrew is our “Mr. Fix it” here at Timber Haus – he takes care of all those small but important jobs that need to get done on-site, as well as maintaining all our construction sites to ensure they are tidy and safe. How did he get so handy, you ask? By trade, Andrew is a fourth-year cabinetmaker!
When he’s not busy on-site, Andrew enjoys working in his workshop at home, making assorted personal projects and commissions. He also really enjoys spending time outdoors: snowboarding, baking, archery, hiking, and canoeing.
When we asked Andrew what he loves most about working with our team, he said, “My fellow Timber-Hausers are always friendly and helpful with anything and everything. Gary Heijster
Gary first met Don 25 years ago on a dairy farm in British Columbia, forming a friendship built on hard work, trust, and shared values. That connection eventually led him to work alongside Don and John at Linconberg in 2014, where their collaboration strengthened and set the foundation for the work they do today.
At Timber Haus, Gary oversees on-site operations with a calm, organized, and solutions-focused presence. He coordinates trades, maintains timelines, and ensures every detail reflects the quality and intention that define a Timber Haus build. His ability to understand a client’s vision — and translate it into a home that feels personal and enduring — is one of his greatest strengths.
Outside of work, Gary is a father of four and an avid outdoorsman who finds energy and clarity in hiking and spending time in nature. He also builds custom saunas and cold plunges, driven by a passion for contrast therapy and its wellness benefits. (sounds like naturally inspired living to us!) Whether he’s on site or in the backcountry, Gary brings the same dedication, curiosity, and craftsmanship to everything he does.

Santiago Vergara
Santiago brings a strong carpentry background and years of hands‑on experience in home construction to his role as Site Superintendent at Timber Haus. Known for his calm leadership and meticulous eye, he ensures every home is built with the craftsmanship and care our clients expect.
Drawn to Timber Haus for our commitment to quality, custom design, and the way we treat our trades and partners, Santiago is deeply aligned with our values. He takes pride in being part of a team that’s known for its integrity and reputation in both the community and the industry.
Outside of work, Santiago is constantly on the move. Whether he’s playing pickleball, soccer, biking, or finding any excuse to stay active, he brings the same energy to life that he brings to the job site. His biggest passion, though, is music — he’s a DJ and producer who loves creating sounds that make people move.
Santiago’s blend of technical skill, leadership, creativity, and enthusiasm makes him a standout addition to the Timber Haus team.

Ryan Charron
Ryan entered the construction industry in August 2013 as a rookie in residential construction. Ryan excelled as an Assistant Site Superintendent for five years with Lincolnberg Master Builder learning the ropes by overseeing hundreds of homes built in neighbourhoods across the city, managing and directing trades and ensuring timely/quality project completion.
In 2018 Ryan’s personal life took him to Calgary, but in 2020 he returned to Edmonton and joined Timber Haus developments as a Service Manager. His attention to detail makes him a customer favourite during home turnovers and follow-up warranty visits. Ryan’s skills with the tools, insatiable desire to help people and excellent communication abilities have made him an invaluable asset to Timber Haus.

Jeff Tolsma
Jeff has been in the construction business for most of his life. He was born and raised on a farm outside St. Albert, AB. While dating his girlfriend and now wife, they both lived in Chilliwack, BC, where he worked for a construction company gaining vast knowledge in all aspects of carpentry. After moving back to Alberta, getting married and starting a family, Jeff settled in the small town of Lacombe. There he worked for Wolf Creek Building Supplies installing windows and doors, then was promoted to Operations Manager in the Timber Wolf Truss Company. In 2015, Jeff and his family moved back to the Edmonton area and started working for Lincolnberg Master Builder. After six years working at Lincolnberg as a site superintendent, he recently started working for Timber Haus, assuming the role of site superintendent. Jeff currently has two sons and two daughters.

Andrew Villeneuve
Andrew is our “Mr. Fix it” here at Timber Haus – he takes care of all those small but important jobs that need to get done on-site, as well as maintaining all our construction sites to ensure they are tidy and safe. How did he get so handy, you ask? By trade, Andrew is a fourth-year cabinetmaker!
When he’s not busy on-site, Andrew enjoys working in his workshop at home, making assorted personal projects and commissions. He also really enjoys spending time outdoors: snowboarding, baking, archery, hiking, and canoeing.
When we asked Andrew what he loves most about working with our team, he said, “My fellow Timber-Hausers are always friendly and helpful with anything and everything.
