Featured Design: Backyard Oasis

As density becomes more critical to fighting urban sprawl, many of our clients want to explore garden suites to help generate some income. This build finished explicitly during early COVID, and the clients decided to bring their families closer. 

A garden suite is a unique challenge where being clever with the design both inside and out must be considered and appropriately done. The architecture is clean and contemporary, with separated rooflines and modern colours. Inside, the kitchen is spacious, considering the home’s overall size. Storage is provided throughout, in spaces that make sense to the grandparents living in this space. 

Also, we took advantage and built a south-facing patio to enjoy all-day sunlight with a beautiful pergola.
